“Most of the time the symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome can be treated conservatively,” says Stephen O’Connell, MD, a Board Certified, fellowship-trained Orthopedic Surgeon with Eisenhower Desert Orthopedic Center who specializes in surgery of the hand, wrist and shoulder.
