Rheumatic Arthritis is Preventable and Manageable

Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune disorder that causes pain, swelling and loss of joint function. Kam Newman, MD, a Board Certified Rheumatologist at Eisenhower Health, wants you to know that RA is both preventable and manageable.

“HOWEVER, says Dr. Newman, once the damage is done… it’s done.” This makes it important for all of us to know the early warning signs and more about this debilitating disease.
